Appointments and Pricing

All appointments are subject to written consent for treatment by your registered veterinary care provider. You may wish to discuss acupuncture with your primary care veterinarian or I am happy to have a case discussion with them prior to instigating a treatment protocol for your animal.
An initial in home consultation typically lasts 45-60minutes. This includes a full consultation and an initial tailored acupuncture treatment. An initial consultation fee is £75 and includes an acupuncture treatment.
Subsequent follow up appointments will typically last 20-40 minutes. Follow up consultations inclusive of acupuncture treatment is £55.
A travel surcharge may be applied, this is dependent on your geographical location. Our pricing structure is calculated by distance from the village of St John's Chapel in Weardale, Co Durham. Distance is calculated from satellite navigation, not as the crow flies. The following pricing structure is used for call outs.
- 0-10 miles: Included in consultation fee
- >10 miles: £2 per additional mile travelled.
If multiple animals are treated at one location then this call out fee can be split between clients. If 5 or more animals are treated in one location then the call out fee is wavered.
